Yes — you can start a free trial of Pro or Pro Privacy from the sign-up page without providing a credit card.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes. You can switch at any time from your billing settings. Yearly billing saves 20% compared to monthly.
What happens if I downgrade from Pro to Free?
Your data is preserved. Tasks beyond the Free tier limits become read-only until you're back within limits or re-upgrade. Nothing is deleted.
What's the difference between Pro and Pro Privacy?
Pro Privacy has identical features to Pro. The only difference: Pro Privacy disables all analytics, crash reporting, and Firebase Cloud Messaging — real-time sync uses Socket.IO instead. It costs $2/month more for users who want full zero-telemetry operation.
Does TapTidy use my task data to train AI?
No — on any tier. Your task data is never used to train machine learning models. On Pro and Pro Privacy, tasks are end-to-end encrypted, so TapTidy servers cannot read them at all.
